Day 10 of the Twelve Tags of Christmas 2017

Day 10 at the CLASSroom's Twelve Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 and it's another color challenge - Rainbow Bright!  Fantastic inspiration from designers  Sharon Harnist & Svitlana Shayevich!

Used some rainbow striped paper adhered to a white tag.  Die cut the tree from teal and adhered some pink glitter paper behind it.  Die cut an oval and sponged ink in yellow, orange and red to create a glow around the tree.  Added Nuvo drops to the tree for bulbs.  Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with purple ep and stamped the second part of the sentiment in Memento Rose Bud.  Tied on some glittery pipe cleaners and green and turquoise baker's twine.  Added a few pink sequin stars to finish it off.

Twelve Tags - Day 9

The Twelve Days of Christmas with a Feminine Twist at the CLASSroom 2017 is a color challenge with inspiration from Heather Meeson and Nichol Spohr!

I love what both designers did with the Oxide ink on the backgrounds and that is where I started!  Sponged Distress Oxide Iced Spruce and left a white area on the bottom of the tag.  Stamped the tree from my very first Gina K set with Distress Pine Needles ink and colored the trunk and branches with a brown Touch Twin marker, then added the snow on the branches with a white Pitt pen.  Added some Nuvo Moonstone glitter paste on the snowy bottom of the tag.  Stamped the cute little snowman from Penny Black, colored it with greens and reds markers and a little shading with a light gray marker.  Cut him out and adhered to the tag and tied it off with some green raffia.

Twelve Tags - Day 8

It's the 8th day of the CLASSroom's 12 Days of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 with a sketch challenge.  Designers Lisa Adametz and Jill Foster have fabulous tags for inspiration.

Smeared a couple different blue Oxide inks on my craft mat, misted with water and smeared my white tag through the ink.  When dry, stamped the gold lines on the top and bottom using a stamp from Concord & 9th Joy set with Golden Glitz ink.  Used a stencil and smooshed some Nuvo glitter paste through the dots,  (very hard to see in the photo)  Stamped the sentiment  with Memento Luxe Nautical Blue.  covered a wooden star with Prismacolor gold marker and also colored the ribbon, which was white with the same.  Adhered the star and some little pink sequin stars as well.

Playing along with the Double D Challenges - Red and White Christmas with an optional twist of a pop of green.

Sponged ink through the Tim Holtz plaid stencil for the background.  Stamped and colored the little deer and tiny tree from Clearly Besotted.  Colored the deer with Touch Twin markers and added little balls to the tree with Sakura gel pens.  Sentiment is from Concord & 9th Joy set.  Matted the oval on a kraft scalloped oval and put it all together on a kraft card base.

Twelve Tags with a Feminine Twist - Day 7

Day 7 at the CLASSroom for the Twelve Days of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017 with awesome inspiration from designers

Heather Campbell and Elena Roussakis!

This is also a fit for the challenge at the Mod Squad Challenge - What  a Flake!

Modsquad Challenge

Started with  a piece of mint green vellum that was in my stash and embossed with with a snowflake embossing folder and then die cut the tag.  Swiped it with Brilliance white ink and touched on the little dots with a Touch Twin marker in pink.  Adhered it to a white die cut tag.  Stamped the ornament from Gina K with Versamark on pink cardstock and heat embossed with gold ep.  Die cut the ornament topper from gold and the bow and string from the same pink as the ornament.  Punched out some pine pieces from Gina K Creme de Menthe cardstock and added to the ornament top.  Die cut the sentiment from mirrored gold cardstock.  Lastly, added the little pink star sequins.

Twelve Tags - Day 6

I am loving all of the inspiration for making tags at the CLASSroom with The Twelve Days of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017!  Day 6 is a color challenge with inspiration from designers  Kittie Caracciolo & Daniela Dobson!

Stamped Gina K's A Year of Flowers poinsettia and colored with purple markers.  Stamped some leaves and colored with greens.  Masked off the flower and used Tim Holtz's plaid stencil inking with an old SU Going Gray ink.  Added some Stickles to the poinsettia center and some Wink of Stella to the petals.  Stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts in Memento Elderberry ink.  Tied on some satin ribbon from my stash.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Twelve Tags - Day 5

It's the 5th day of The Twelve Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2017  at the CLASSroom and it's a Theme Challenge - Snow!

Love the inspiration from designers Carissa Wiley and Eloise Blue!

Images by Gina K and sentiment from Clearly Besotted.  Stamped the pine branch with distress Oxide Peeled Paint ink then a darker Distress ink Olive Grove on top of it.  Stamped the ornament with white then with Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick.  added the string/cord for the ornament with a metallic gel pen and also added dots on the ornament with the same pen. Used a silver Wink of Stella pen to fill in the smaller areas of the ornament.  Finally to the snow.  I used a white Pitt artist pen and dabbed on the branch and top of the ornament.  Added some snow falling from the sky and a little of it piling along the bottom.  tied with pink ribbon and green tinsel.
